Why does the installer ask about Documents?
Short answer
macOS asks whether “node” can access your Documents folder. “node” is Cuddle’s background service. Premiere Pro keeps your keyboard shortcuts in Documents, and Cuddle reads them so multicam editing presses the right keys. Click Allow.
What you see
“node” would like to access files in your Documents folder.A macOS prompt while Cuddle installs
Why Cuddle asks
Premiere Pro saves your keyboard shortcuts inside Documents. When your AI switches camera angles, Cuddle looks up which keys you assigned and presses those. Without Documents access, it can’t find them.
If you clicked Don’t Allow
The install stops with a message about Documents. Turn on Documents for node in System Settings, then click Try Again in the installer.
