Privacy Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

This policy explains what information Cuddle and this website collect. Cuddle is made by Next Media, LLC ("we" or "us"). Cuddle runs on your Mac and works with your Adobe Premiere Pro projects there.

Usage and crash reports

To find and fix problems, Cuddle sends anonymous usage and crash reports:

  • Each edit Cuddle makes and each action that fails: which Cuddle tool was used, whether it worked, its error code, and how long it took. Lookups, such as status checks, are only counted.
  • A random session ID for each AI tool connection, so actions from the same session can be grouped.
  • Crash and error reports, including the technical details of where in Cuddle the problem happened and the Cuddle tools used just before it.
  • The versions of Cuddle, Premiere Pro, and macOS you are using, and your Mac's processor type.
  • The name of the AI tool Cuddle is connected to, such as Claude or Cursor.
  • A random ID created when you install Cuddle, so reports from the same install can be grouped. It is not tied to your name, email, or account.

What reports never include

  • Your media, projects, or transcripts.
  • File paths, or the names of your projects, files, or sequences. These are removed from reports before they leave your Mac.
  • Your name, email address, or any account information.
  • Your location. IP addresses are discarded and not stored.

How to turn it off

Open Cuddle's Settings panel in Premiere Pro and choose Turn Off under Usage and crash reports. When it's off, Cuddle sends nothing and deletes any reports waiting to be sent.

Updates

Cuddle checks this website for new versions. The check asks for the latest release and includes no information about you or your projects.

Your AI tool

Cuddle gives information from Premiere Pro, such as transcripts and frames, to the AI tool you connect it to. What that tool does with it is governed by its provider's own privacy policy.

Who receives reports

Usage and crash reports are stored with PostHog, an analytics service, in the United States. We use them only to improve Cuddle and fix problems. We don't sell this information or share it for advertising.

This website

This website uses analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are visited. These analytics don't use cookies, and we don't sell this information or use it for advertising.

Children

Cuddle is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
