What can’t Cuddle do?

Short answer

Cuddle can’t do a few things, because it only uses Adobe’s official tools for Premiere Pro plugins. Audio transitions, effect presets, and speed changes are out of reach. Cuddle also has no AI of its own. The ideas come from your AI.

Not possible today

  • Audio transitions. Video transitions work. Audio crossfades can be drawn with volume keyframes instead.
  • Reading transition details. Your AI can add and remove video transitions, but can’t see their name or length afterward.
  • Effect presets. Write the settings out instead. See how.
  • Speed changes. Your AI can’t speed up clips or make slow motion.
  • Sequence settings. Your AI can’t change a sequence’s frame size or frame rate, so it can’t turn a horizontal edit into a vertical one. New sequences match your footage.
  • Premiere Pro’s Captions track. Cuddle makes captions as styled titles instead. Learn more.
  • Changing text in motion graphics templates (MOGRTs). Your AI can place a template, but sets text only in Cuddle’s own titles.
  • Other editing apps. Cuddle works in Premiere Pro only, not in Premiere Rush, Premiere Elements, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
  • Your own scripts. Cuddle does only the edits it was built for, so it can’t run code or scripts you write.
  • Making new media. Cuddle doesn’t generate music, images, video, or voices. It edits with files you already have.
  • Spotting scenes or faces by itself. Cuddle doesn’t detect shot changes or faces on its own. Your AI can look at frames from your footage instead.
  • Uploading or posting. Cuddle doesn’t upload your video or post it anywhere. Share the exported file yourself.

By design

Cuddle has no AI of its own. It doesn’t watch your footage, pick moments, or make creative choices. It does exactly what your AI asks, checks the timeline before every change, and keeps everything undoable.
