What is Cuddle?
Short answer
Cuddle connects your AI app to Adobe Premiere Pro. You ask for an edit in plain words, your AI decides what to do, and Cuddle makes the edit right on your timeline.
How it fits together
Your AI app is the brain. It reads your request, looks at your project, and plans the edit. Cuddle is the hands. It gives your AI a safe set of editing tools inside Premiere Pro, and does exactly what it’s asked: trim, assemble, add effects, set levels, place titles, switch camera angles, and more.
Cuddle itself has no AI inside. It doesn’t judge your footage or make editing choices on its own. That’s your AI’s job, guided by you.
Cuddle works inside Premiere Pro rather than replacing it, so you still review, adjust, and export there. It doesn’t use Adobe’s own AI features. Cuddle is an independent product and isn’t made by or affiliated with Adobe.
What makes it safe
Cuddle is built so your AI can’t surprise you. It edits only when your AI asks, checks the timeline before every change, and keeps every change undoable.
- Rough cuts go into new sequences, so your original timeline stays as it was.
- Every change shows up in Premiere Pro’s History, labeled “Cuddle:”, and can be undone.
- If you change the same timeline while your AI is working, Cuddle stops its next edit until your AI looks again.
- Cuddle runs on your Mac. Your footage stays there.
