Why does the Cuddle panel say Disconnected?
Short answer
Cuddle’s background service isn’t reachable yet. The panel keeps trying on its own, and switches to Connected the moment it gets through.
What you see

Try this, in order
Give it a moment. The panel keeps retrying in the background. If the service was just starting, it flips to Connected by itself.
Ask your AI anything about Cuddle. When your AI app uses Cuddle, it also starts Cuddle’s background service if it isn’t running.
Restart Premiere Pro. Cuddle’s plugin loads when Premiere Pro starts and connects right away.
Still stuck? Run the installer again. Open the Cuddle installer and install over your current setup. It repairs Cuddle in place and keeps your skills.
Why it happens
The panel talks to a small background service on your Mac. It starts when you log in, and your AI app can start it too. Disconnected only means the panel hasn’t reached it yet. Nothing in your project is affected.
