Troubleshooting · Connection

I can’t find the Cuddle panel in Premiere Pro

Short answer

In Premiere Pro, choose Window › UXP Plugins › Cuddle › Cuddle. If Cuddle isn’t in that menu, restart Premiere Pro, then check that it’s version 26.5.0 or newer.

Where it lives

  1. Window
  2. UXP Plugins
  3. Cuddle
  4. Cuddle

The same menu also has Cuddle Skills and Cuddle Settings. Cuddle isn’t under Window › Extensions, which is for an older kind of plugin.

If Cuddle isn’t listed

  1. Restart Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro loads plugins when it starts, so it won’t show Cuddle until it’s restarted after install.

  2. Check your Premiere Pro version. Cuddle needs Premiere Pro 26.5.0 or newer. Update Premiere Pro from the Creative Cloud app if it’s older.

  3. Run the Cuddle installer again. Cuddle adds its plugin with Adobe’s own plugin installer, which comes with Creative Cloud Desktop. Installing again adds the plugin back and keeps your skills.
