Question · Editing
Will Cuddle slow down my Mac or Premiere Pro?
Short answer
Cuddle waits quietly in the background until your AI asks for something, then does one edit at a time. The heavier jobs, like transcribing, music analysis, and masking, run only when your AI asks for them.
The heavier jobs
- Transcribing happens in Premiere Pro and can take a few minutes for long clips.
- Music analysis takes a few minutes for long files the first time, then the results are reused.
- Masking uses about a gigabyte of memory while it tracks a shot.
Because Cuddle does one edit at a time, a long job finishes before the next one starts. You can keep working in other apps while it runs.
